5 ml Scoops — About 1 US Teaspoon

5 ml equals 5 cc: about 0.34 US tablespoons, 1.01 US teaspoons or 0.17 US fluid ounces. Compare compact scoops for measuring spices, small powder portions and recipe ingredients. Powder weight depends on the ingredient, density and filling method; capacity alone does not establish grams per scoop.

Choose the fit

Match the scoop to your container

A long handle can help reach into a deeper container; a shorter handle may fit more easily inside compact packaging. Compare total length and bowl width with the opening before choosing.

Flat and rounded bowl shapes handle ingredients differently. Use the model drawing to compare the shape, then try a sample with your powder. The same nominal volume does not mean the same powder weight.

Measure your own powder

Use a level fill and a scale when you need grams per serving. Coffee grind, packing and powder density can change the result.

Capacity questions

Choosing a 5 ml scoop

How much is a 5 ml scoop in US spoons and fluid ounces?

5 ml equals 5 cc: about 0.34 US tablespoons, 1.01 US teaspoons or 0.17 US fluid ounces. These are approximate US-unit conversions; the model capacity is 5 ml.

Is 5 cc the same as 5 ml?

Yes. One cubic centimetre (cc) equals one millilitre (ml), so 5 cc and 5 ml describe the same volume.

How many grams does a 5 ml scoop hold?

There is no universal gram value. Weigh several level scoops of your actual powder, subtract the container weight and divide by the number of scoops. Repeat with the filling method you will use.

How do I choose between models with the same capacity?

Compare total length, bowl width and height with your container opening and internal depth. Choose handle reach and bowl shape for your use, and test a sample with the actual product and packaging.

Can I add a model to my quotation request?

Yes. Use Add this specification to inquiry beside the model, or Request this model to open an inquiry with its model and variant selected. Stock scoop models start from 100 pieces. Existing laser-logo samples can be dispatched within 3 days; we reply within 24 hours.
