When stainless steel is worth it
- You sell at a premium price and want the scoop to match the product.
- You want your logo on something customers can keep using after the tub is finished.
- You sell scoops as an accessory, or include one in a starter kit or subscription box.
- Your customers ask for a sturdier scoop.
When plastic is the better choice
- Cost per tub is the main constraint, for example on a high-volume, low-price product.
- A new scoop is supplied with each tub.
- You need a light scoop to keep shipping weight down.
You can also combine them: put a plastic scoop in the standard tub and offer a stainless steel scoop in a gift set or as a loyalty reward.
How a steel scoop goes into your tub
- Individually bagged: each scoop in its own bag, placed in the tub before sealing.
- Separate accessory: packed and sold beside the tub, or in a starter kit.
- Gift set: scoop with tub or shaker in a printed box (custom printed boxes from 1,000 pieces).
Before you order, check with a sample that the filled scoop fits under the lid and that the handle reaches the bottom of the tub. See packaging options.
304 or 430 stainless steel
304 is our standard grade. 430 is available for budget orders. Both are stainless steel; 304 costs more. See stainless steel grades.
Test reports
Some measuring scoop models have test reports referencing FDA and Council of Europe CM/Res requirements. Each report covers only the named sample and tests; all are on our certificates page. We work with partner test laboratories and can arrange testing for any of our products.
Free fill test with your powder
Your scoop must deliver the serving on your label, filled the way your label tells customers to fill it. Volume in ml does not tell you the grams; your powder's density does. Protein powder scoop size shows how to work out the volume you need.
The fastest way to be sure: send us a sample of your powder for a free fill test with suitable scoop options. You cover the shipping. We report the grams per scoop for the options closest to your serving, so you can choose a model before ordering samples.
